They can be taken from different sources; News Articles, Blogs, Websites, Emails You choose what type of information that you want by choosing a keyword that that information feeds from. This can be in the title alone, or in the content.

To set up RSS feeds is a 3 stage process.

  • Choose how often you want to have the alerts updated e.g. as it happens, once a day. When happy, save your changes.
  • Feed source information/title; You will need to copy the feed source title to get onto the next stage.
  • To do this, in your Google alerts, click on view feed in the “deliver to” section.

  • Highlight everything between the quotation marks “”after href.
  • Copy, Paste & save for later.
